Bolt Clock In/Out Procedure as of 05/12/2025
The drive time, jobsite and shop work punch types will still be available, but a work order must be selected.
Hourly mobile app users will now notice that the Clock In button on the main timesheet page/tab and the Clock-out button on the work order pages will now be grayed out. The main timesheet will only be used for clocking out for lunch and clocking out at the end of the day. Users will clock in to their first work order from their Jobs list at the beginning of the day and then directly clock into the next work order when ready to move on, no need to clock out of each work order.
For managers & supervisors creating manual time entries, you will receive an error message when attempting to save a time punch with no work order selected.
If the employee is working at the dispatch center that day (outside of just picking up materials), please create a work order under the Bolt job that has the dispatch center's address and assign to that crew.
If they are hourly and normally clock in when they get to the dispatch center, they will now clock into their first work order.
