Bolt: Crew Set Up
It is important that crews in Bolt are set up correctly. Below are issue that occur when a crew is not set up correctly.
- Technicians cannot see their jobs in the Bolt app
- Technicians cannot clock into jobs
- Technicians will not be found in the timesheet
- Time cannot be entered for a technician on the timesheet
- Technicians see $0.00 total pay on the crew pay
- Technicians cannot be assigned to jobs
Below is how a crew needs to be set up in Bolt:
- Name as it appears on the employee record
- Active = Yes
- Crew type(s) entered. These are used as search filters on various pages in Bolt
- Leader MUST be entered
- Offices MUST be assigned
- Members must be entered with total Pay % must equal 100% among all members
- Crew Pay (Escalation Pay) entered if crew receives escalation.
