NetSuite Job Template Usage - No Tasks
To emphasize the critical importance of using a Job Template when creating a new job in NetSuite. If a job is created without a template, the corresponding work orders that must be generated in Bolt will not sync back to NetSuite.
When a Job Template is selected, specific fields in NetSuite are automatically populated, triggering the integration flow between the two systems. Without this step, the synchronization process cannot occur.
To support various scenarios, we have added “No Tasks” Job Templates for each Line of Business (LOB). These should be used only when a job must be created without any tasks. (Ex: Job we are only preforming the Warranty Call, UG or Rough for)
Important: You will use the new "No Tasks" job templates when setting up warranty Jobs moving forward. You will need to make sure you choose the correct No Task template based on the LOB the warranty job is being created for.
Ex: If creating a warranty job for Elec SF, you would need to choose the "B2B ELEC SF No Tasks" Job template.
